Iowa’s Top 10 in 2023

Overview

We will be conducting an outreach campaign this year to reach the top 10 cities in Iowa (by population) with the good news of the Gospel. Many have not heard the gospel or have been deceived by the evil one to abandon faith in Christ and His Kingdom. Consider the parable of the Sower found in Matthew 13.

“Hear then the parable of the sower: When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is what was sown along the path. As for what was sown on rocky ground, this is the one who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy, yet he has no root in himself, but endures for a while, and when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the word, immediately he falls away. As for what was sown among thorns, this is the one who hears the word, but the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and it proves unfruitful. As for what was sown on good soil, this is the one who hears the word and understands it. He indeed bears fruit and yields, in one case a hundredfold, in another sixty, and in another thirty.”
-Matthew 13:18-23

In each city we will spend a couple of hours distributing tracts, engaging in Christ-centered conversations, and explaining the gospel. We also plan to bring some Bibles to give away and may do some open-air preaching to proclaim the Gospel message to those who happen to be there. Please pray and consider joining us in this labor of compassion for the lost.

If you are from or near one of these cities and would like to participate in one or all of these outreach events, please register. After you register, I will contact you to discuss and work out how you want to be involved and share details of each event.

If you are new to evangelism, let us know and we can provide some basic training resources and some coaching at each location.
