Pella Tulip Time Gospel Outreach 2026

Overview

Come learn to share the gospel with others through this unique event. Learn to articulate the good news of the gospel simply and effectively. Engage in tract distribution before the parades, street evangelism among the crowds, and open-air preaching. You will receive clear, practical teaching from our speakers each morning and be equipped to share the gospel with others. Our speakers this year include Miguel Esparza from Living Waters, Tony Ramsek from Gospel Equip, Dr. Anthony Silvestro from Creation Training Initiative, and Jon Neifert with Tulip Gospel Outreach. They will cover a variety of topics on evangelism and apologetics.

So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” They answered him, “We are offspring of Abraham and have never been enslaved to anyone. How is it that you say, ‘You will become free’?” Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who practices sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. (John 8:31-36)

We will provide tracts and booklets for you to distribute during your time at the event and will be equipped to engage in one-on-one conversations about Christ and the gospel. Our outreach and witnessing time will be led by experienced team leaders and coaches to help guide you as you apply your learning. This event coincides with the annual Pella Tulip Time Festival celebrating the settlers’ Dutch heritage, the tulips, and the Christian history of the founders of Pella, IA.

The event is free, but we suggest a donation of $30 per person, or $75 per family to help cover the cost of putting on this event. Simply Donate after registration or in-person when you arrive.

Volunteers are responsible for their own food, lodging, and parking. You are encouraged to fellowship and share your experience with your team members over a meal during the festival. There are plenty of options available.

Friday
9:00 - 10:00 am Preaching the Gospel While We are Free Tony Ramsek
Christians in America are living in an anomaly where we can preach the gospel without fear of prison or death. Christ has set us free from sin and in Him we are free indeed. And this spiritual freedom has been coupled with the rare gift of civil liberty to proclaim Christ openly. But that freedom is not guaranteed and may disappear sooner than we think. In this session, Tony will challenge believers to make the most of the time God has given us, learn from the persecuted church, remember recent seasons when our freedoms were restricted, and prepare our hearts to follow Christ even if the cost becomes high. This is a call to boldness, urgency, and faithful obedience to the Great Commission.
10:15 - 11:15 am Is Repentance Required for Salvation? Miguel Esparza
This important message will explain that without repentance, sinners will perish. It is a required, inseparable component of faith, and true repentance is a "divine gift" that leads to salvation.

10:15 - 11:15 am True & false Conversion Miguel Esparza

Jon Neifert (Tulip Gospel Outreach)

Founder of Tulip Gospel Outreach and author of The Gospel Through Jonah’s Eyes, Jon Neifert finds jubilant joy in sharing the gospel message! He grew up as a pastor’s kid in the Friends (Quaker) church and currently serves in his local church, Tracy Christian Reformed Church.

With his degree in Applied Computer Science from William Penn University, he employs his skills in creatively coordinating evangelism efforts at churches, fairs, camps, schools, and online. This passion led him to serve as a team leader for the Living Waters Ambassador’s Academy— a “Gospel Highlight”.

Jon, his wife, and two sons enjoy technology, and all things outdoors including hiking, watching wildlife, and raising animals on their acreage near Pella, Iowa.

Tony Ramsek 2026 Photo
Tony Ramsek (Gospel Equip)

Tony Ramsek is a Christian speaker and evangelist focused on equipping believers to confidently and biblically share the gospel. His ministry centers on training everyday Christians to understand the message of salvation clearly, overcome fear in evangelism, and faithfully engage people with the truth of Scripture.

He ran evangelism outreaches for Answers in Genesis for 24 years and currently leads evangelism training teams with Ray Comfort’s Living Waters ministry. Through decades of public outreach, discipleship, and teaching, he has helped train believers to share their faith in churches, on campuses, and in everyday conversations.

Tony speaks at churches, camps, conferences, and outreach events, where he provides practical evangelism training rooted in the authority of God’s Word. His teaching emphasizes gospel clarity, biblical repentance and faith, apologetics, and the urgency of the Great Commission.
Through both teaching and hands-on outreach, Tony’s heart is to see the church move from passive belief to active witness, empowered by the Holy Spirit to proclaim Christ in a lost and dying world.

Dr. Anthony Silvestro 2025 Photo
Dr. Anthony Silvestro (Creation Training Initiative)

Dr. Anthony R. Silvestro, Jr., was once an unsaved evolutionist but now is an avid Biblical creationist – teaching adults and kids alike that God didn’t create man from ape-like creatures, and that the Bible can be trusted from beginning to end, starting with the book of Genesis!

Dr. Silvestro resides in a suburb of Cleveland, OH, with his wife Julie, and his son, Anthony III.  After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Math and Chemistry from Baldwin-Wallace College, he attended The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and received his dental degree.  Dr. Silvestro continues to practice general dentistry in Middleburg Hts., OH, and is also trained in most of the dental specialties.

After years of training and self-study, Dr. Silvestro speaks for Creation Training Initiative with former Answers in Genesis speaker, Mike Riddle, on many popular topics.  He also trains new evangelists at Ray Comfort’s Ambassador’s Academy every year.  You may have even seen him in the Christian movies, American Gospel, and American Gospel 2!

Christians have benefitted by his teaching at conferences, youth groups, and Christian radio shows, including ApologeticsLive.com. Fan-favorites include presuppositional apologetics for the layperson, problems with the social justice movement and critical race theory, Biblical evangelism, and street-level apologetics to be able to witness to anyone, even your family members at the Christmas dinner table!  He also does teaching on Biblical Creation and how science supports the Biblical account of creation as well as the age of the earth.

Dr. Silvestro especially enjoys teaching presuppositional apologetics, the biblical apologetic method, to help equip Christians to proclaim the Gospel.  He recently published his first book, On the Origin of Kinds, to help teach Christians how to Biblically evangelize using the Law and Gospel while answering any objection to the Christian worldview.

His book, On the Origin of Kinds, is one-of-a-kind.  While many fantastic books exist that teach Biblical evangelism, presuppositional apologetics, and creation apologetics separately, there are not any that put everything together into one easy-to-apply book like this does.  In this book, you will learn how to Biblically evangelize, using the Law and the Gospel, and to handle the most common objections using presuppositional and creation apologetics.
